COVID-19 Update
COVID-19 UPDATE
March 24, 2020
To do our part to combat the spread of COVID-19, and in light of Governor Ralph Northam’s executive order, we have decided to cancel all in-person classes at Cirqulation effective immediately. But social distancing doesn’t mean we stop moving! We’re quickly pulling together resources for our community to stay connected and keep practicing! This includes virtual live classes, recorded videos, and PDFs for at-home exercises. We will update you through this page and by direct email as we develop new content.
We treasure the community and support our students have at Cirqulation. This time brings new challenges to us all, including our ability to keep the lights on and keep Cirqulation operational. We hope we can continue to support each other as we transition into this new and exciting medium of virtual offerings.
Virtual Learning & Practice
We are currently creating content for current and new students to keep moving and practice. I think a lot of us already figured out that it’s so easy to just drift into becoming a couch potato when we have to stay home all day! Therefore, we plan to offer the following formats of instruction:
Live online group training sessions via Google Meet and Zoom
One-on-one in person classes (with strict Cv-19 protocols to mitigate risk)
Live workshops (with recordings available) for conditioning & flexibility, handstands, etc
Subscribe to a video library for self-paced training and reference (coming soon!)
Community & Wellness
Core to our values and mission at Cirqulation is to create a space where feel comfortable and empowered in their own bodies, and a critical part of that is doing everything we can to facilitate a healthy and supportive community. Therefore, during this time of social distancing, we created a Facebook group to keep everyone connected and moving. We’ll post daily challenges of movements (which are mostly just us goofing off at home) and encouraging all students to participate. The internet is so often just a place of mindless scrolling for us, so we hope this will be a more fun and interactive space for everyone! You can join the group here.
